We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of 700 sheep in our agri-park! These woolly wonders have a special mission – to munch away on the old grass and weeds surrounding our almond trees.
Why sheep, you ask? Well, these fluffy landscapers are not just adorable; they play a crucial role in sustainable agriculture.
1. Natural Lawnmowers: by grazing on the vegetation, the sheep help control weed growth, keeping our orchards tidy and minimizing the need for herbicides.
2. Fertilizer Factory: sheep droppings are a fantastic natural fertilizer. As they graze, they contribute valuable nutrients back into the soil, enhancing its fertility.
3. Erosion Control: their constant movement and nibbling action can help prevent soil erosion, ensuring the health of our orchards.
4. Cost-Effective and Eco-Friendly: using sheep as a form of vegetation management is not only environmentally friendly but also cost-effective, promoting a more sustainable approach to agriculture.
